I was contracted to film the Jumbo Banquet. The ladies of the Jumbo Queens competition, a beauty contest for women weighing at least 80 kilograms (176 pounds), joined the elephants of the Samphran Elephant Ground and Zoo in Thailand for a gala banquet on May 1st 2014 in the honour of the gentle giants.
More than 6,000 kilograms (13,230 pounds) of fruit and vegetables were served to the elephant guests, with children and local residents invited to take part in the annual extravaganza.
